I worked to secure a grant of planning permission for the following selection of residential developments in Scotland and Ireland.
- Eglinton Road, Dublin 4 – 94 no. residential apartments across a single block of up to 7 no. storeys in a prominent south Dublin location granted by Dublin City Council. Development involved the regeneration of low density residential dwellings with high density compact urban growth in a highly accessible location.
- Broadford Works, Aberdeen – 430 student bed spaces and 460 residential apartment units secured for Inhabit at Broadford Works, an historic mill site in the centre of Aberdeen. Planning permission in principle secured in 2017, subject to extensive consultation with local community and Historic Scotland.
- Abbotswell Road, Aberdeen – 100 affordable apartments on a circa 1 hectare site, secured for Stewart Milne Homes (a major national house builder) on appeal to Scottish Ministers. Proposals constituted ‘major development’ which involved public consultation and presentation to community groups. The applicant was also represented at planning committee.
- Drumoak, Banchory, Aberdeenshire – 44 homes on a greenfield site in Aberdeenshire. Planning permission was secured on behalf of Stewart Milne Homes, enabling 11 additional units on a site allocated for 35 dwellings due to efficient layout, design and density
